Face to Face! follow a strict code of practice which provides a safe & hygienic service.
We advise against painting faces under the age of 3 as they are more susceptible to a reaction. However, if the child is able to sit still and express for themselves what they would like painted, we will paint the face of 2 ½ yr olds. Children between 2 & 2 ½ may only have their hand painted only. We will not paint children under 2.
• Only 1 sponge per child is used, brushes are rinsed and the brush water is changed regularly
• A clean face is prior to painting is expected, as dirty faces will contaminate the paints
• Parents/Carers must take full responsibility in allowing children to be painted; we reserve the right not to paint an unaccompanied child under 16.
• Face to Face! cannot supervise children, their behavior and safety is the Parents/Carers responsibility.
• The face painting products we use are professional and conform to EEC/EU regulations. They are hypoallergenic and are formulated with anti-microbial agents to prevent bacterial and fungal growth.
• Face to Face! will not be liable for allergic reactions to paints. If you or your child are sensitive to products and think you may have a reaction, it is advisable to have a skin test 20 mins before being painted.
• Face to Face! will not face paint anyone with sickness, cold sores, conjunctivitis, sties, head lice, any infectious skin condition, eczema, open sores or other obvious rashes or abrasions but at my discretion, I/we may paint on their arm or leg instead.
• Face to Face! reserve the right not to paint any designs of an offensive nature.
• The paints must be removed prior to bedtime & can be easily removed with soap and water.
• Any accidental marks on clothing should be easily removed by washing in biological powder.
