Face to Face! follows a strict code of practice
These are the terms Face to Face! paint under:
- Only 1 sponge per child is used
- Brushes are rinsed and the brush water is changed regularly throughout the session
- Please ensure the face to be painted is clean prior to painting, as a dirty face will contaminate the paints
- Parents/Carers must take full responsibility in allowing children to be painted; Face to Face! reserves the right not to paint an unaccompanied child
- Face to Face! can not supervise children, their behaviour and safety is the Parents/Carers responsibility
- Face to Face! can not see other children and what they are doing while painting
- Face painting is not advisable on a child less than three years of age as they are more susceptible to a reaction but at my discretion, Face to Face! will paint on their arm or leg instead
- Each face takes apx 6 minutes to paint
- The face painting products Face to Face! use are professional and conform to EEC/EU regulations. They are hypoallergenic and are formulated with anti-microbial agents to prevent bacterial and fungal growth
- Face to Face! will not be liable for allergic reactions to paints. If you or your child are sensitive to products and think you may have a reaction, it is advisable to have a skin test 1 hour before being painted. The paints should be removed prior to bedtime
- Face to Face! cannot face paint anyone with sickness, cold sores, conjunctivitis, sties, head lice, any infectious skin condition, eczema,open sores or other obvious rashes or abrasions but at my discretion, I will paint on their arm or leg instead
- Face to Face! reserves the right not to paint any designs of an offensive nature.
- The face paint can be removed with soap and water using a flannel or a baby wipe.
- Should there be any accidental marks on clothing, it should be easily removed by washing in biological washing powder.
